THE GUEST
HOUSE-CASA OSITO:
Easily
accessed from the rustic cobblestone street and secure off-street
parking area, Casa Osito is a magnificent
extension of space to the main house or a beautifully efficient
self-contained delight in and of itself. Lush tropical gardens and a
winding drive connect Casa Osito with the
main house complex of Villa del Oso.
THE BEDROOMS AT THE CASITA
The
"Garden Bedroom":
A full frontal terrace
breezes past the rare, beautiful plantings at the end of the Grand Hall
and tags along the full patio width of the "French Connection", an
overlook patio terrace which connects the entertaining and dining space
of Casa Osito with the secluded paths that
wind through lush multi-levels of exotic tropical plantings and swaying
palms of the nearby gardens. Like the 2nd floor "Tree House Spa Suite",
your very own private Jacuzzi and romantic super-size outdoor shower are
only steps away. A private gate connects you to the exotic ground level
gardens and beach access.
The "Tree House Suite":
Lurking directly
outside the patio leading from your private Jacuzzi and super-size
outdoor shower is one of nature's symbiotic wonders known as a
"Strangler Tree." However fearsome the name sounds, you shouldn't be
afraid. It is merely a beautiful method of coexistence between a host
palm tree at the core and an outer sheath of a member of the fig tree
family. It got its start several decades ago when a bird transported an
infant seed and deposited it in the vortex of the palm. Time, sunshine
and abundant rainfall took care of the rest. Today both verdant forms of
the palm fond and clusters of the fig leaf add shade and a bit of
mystery to your perch above paradise.
