Just two miles south of Sayulita is an area of virgin jungle called Patzcuaritos. You will traverse the jungle road through natural beauty and unspoiled surroundings, ultimately reaching the cobblestone road and climb the final grade to Calle Magnolia and Casa Contenta.

As you step out of your vehicle and walk toward Casa Contenta, you will be awestruck with the natural surrounding beauty, with the Pacific Ocean stretching out over the horizon to the West, to the South a panoramic view of Punta de Mita, and a gorgeous view of the pristine coast to the North. Here you can relax, away from the hustle and bustle of Sayulita, in a beautiful setting.

Choose to do NOTHING, if you prefer, or relax in the pool, sipping a margarita, while overlooking the ocean and the lush jungle below. Or you may want to read a novel, watch a DVD/video, or if you are in the mood for a short walk, go to one of the nearby beaches, just minutes away, for a picnic, where seeing another person is almost a rarity.

Enjoy beautiful sunsets from your terraced hacienda or the reflection of the moon and stars glistening off the ocean in this area of little light pollution. Listen to the distant pounding surf that lulls you to sleep in the evening from an elevation of 300 feet, or enjoy the choral greeting from the multitude of tropical birds in the morning. Drive the short distance to Sayulita for shopping and dining, but then escape to your private, safe, and tranquil retreat, Casa Contenta, just completed for your enjoyment in 2005.
