Casa Bougainvillea is home to internationally known artist, Evelyne Boren, when she is in residence in Mexico. You will see many of her paintings, both oil and watercolor as you wander through the Villa. In contrast to most rental properties Casa Bougainvillea is truly a home, extremely well furnished, with many antiques collected over the years so it will be greatly appreciated if you will treat it as though it were your own home.
Evelyne and husband Michael, built Casa Bougainvillea in the early eighties when they were living in Puerto Vallarta. Over the years it has been remodeled and updated with emphasis on retaining the original charm. When Casa Bougainvillea was originally built, Sayulita was a tiny undiscovered fishing village. The house has three bedrooms all with king size beds, sleeping six guests in splendid comfort. The guest wing, with living room, bedroom, full kitchen and bathroom, overlooks the ocean, with its own entrance and steps to the beach, can be rented separately and sleeps two people.
